Hydrotherapy (Water Therapy)

It is an effective rehabilitation method that benefits from the buoyancy and relaxing effect of water. Hydrotherapy is performed in well-equipped treatment pools so that the patient can safely enter the pool and easily perform balance, coordination, walking, range of motion, and strengthening exercises. For hydrotherapy, the patient does not need to know how to swim. It is applied by a physiotherapist trained in hydrotherapy and hydrotherapist under the guidance of a specialist physician.

With the temperature, fluidity, massage effect, and lifting force of the water, the relaxed joints and muscles are facilitated to move and strengthen. The patient tries to do the exercises that the therapist does one-on-one more easily and with pleasure. Thus, the physical therapy and rehabilitation process is more efficient.

There is no pain during and at the end of the exercises. Hydrotherapy is fun and stress-reducing treatment tool. With hydrotherapy, the patient's mobility, muscle strength, balance, and coordination are positively affected. Hydrotherapy can be likened to a Spa. Although it is not natural spring water, it can be perceived as a water treatment (hydrotherapy) brought to the patient's feet in the center of the city.
